For Art Dealers
We undertake a personal responsibility for any forgery and commit to provide a refund of the purchased price if:
- You provide us with written evidence that the item is a forgery. The person recognized to write such evidence need to be an acknowledged leading expert in the relevant field.
- You send us notification in writing as soon as a reasonable practicable after you have become aware that the item may be a forgery, and in any event within one year following the purchase of the item.
- You return the item to us in the same condition as it was at the time of the purchase, within one month after the written notification, accompanied by written evidence that this item may be a forgery.
- If you sell or otherwise dispose of your interest in the item, all rights and benefits under this paragraph will cease.
The description of the items on our website and other catalogues is an expression of our opinion of what we believe the items are. Due to the nature of some ancient pieces their attributions can be subject to some debate and if you feel that the description of the item you purchased was misleading then the above paragraphs will apply.
